Nathan Patrick Bowen

Nathan Bowen joined Tenneco India in May 2025 as one of our non-executive directors. Nathan currently serves as Executive Vice President and Group President of Clean Air, Powertrain, and Champion for Tenneco LLC. In this role, he leads a global team dedicated to engineering and manufacturing critical components for advanced engines and technologies that reduce emissions and enhance energy efficiency across light vehicle, commercial truck, off-highway, and industrial applications.

With more than two decades of leadership experience in the automotive industry, Nathan has held key executive roles at major Tier-1 suppliers. Before joining Tenneco, he spent 20 years at Johnson Controls and related joint ventures in a variety of strategic roles in finance and general management.

Nathan holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Central Michigan University and a master’s degree of business administration from Grand Valley State in Michigan.
